Care for an RDA horse
RDA Ponycare Scheme
West Auckland Riding for the Disabled runs a scheme whereby willing and enthusiastic children are given the opportunity to ride and care for one of our horses. This keeps our ponies fit, trained and well cared for while providing experience for a young person who might be unsure about buying a horse of their own.
The riders can become members of Henderson Valley Pony Club (HVPC) and benefit from all the pony club activities and events.
This is a wonderful opportunity to experience what it is like to own your own pony and at the same time support the work of RDA by giving your time to care for one of our horses.
