Bequests

Gifts that create a legacy for the future

A bequest is simply a gift made through your Will. By making a bequest in your Will to West Auckland Riding for the Disabled, you would be continuing in years to come, to provide help to those who are challenged by disability within our community. Your bequest would help to ensure that people of West Auckland who face special challenges, will have access to therapeutic riding opportunities.

Your bequest can be:

  • a specific amount,

  • a proportion of your estate,

  • a particular asset,

  • or the residue of your estate after you have provided for your family and friends.

Bequests are one method of contributing in a significant way towards the RDA’s sustainability, as the organisation moves into the future. Located as we are, in one of the fastest growing areas of the country, the need is great and is growing.

How will your bequest be managed?

It is up to you, how your bequest is used. The funds may be directed towards operating expenses, invested in the development of our facilities and grounds, or invested to ensure the continuation of our services to the West Auckland community. Bequest funds are managed by West Auckland RDA Incorporated, according to your wishes.

We like to know who our friends are, so if you decide to remember us in your Will, please do let us know, so we can keep you updated on the work we are doing and the milestones we reach.
